There might be more around here, but I'm not sure how useful they'd be to you. [What could Harrow do with fish bones. Does he want to know? Unclear. He sticks his hands in his pockets, following her gaze back to the glass, though he doesn't seem to be searching for anything in particular.] I have a feeling the demons would give you as many you liked, too.
Yes. Bloody Mary allowed me to take the skeletons, which was a relief. I'll consider asking them. I was speaking with Eto this morning, and she mentioned there might be more available on this island, but so far, no luck.
Human is better than animal, but I would not mind taking a look at it. [she hesitates only a little, if only because she can sense something odd in his reaction, but she can't quite place it.]
She is surprisingly knowledgeable of such things. It was good of her to think of me.
[Hmmmmm. Hmmmmmmmm. Given what he's seen and experienced thus far, he suspects he knows what's going on here. But, just to be sure--]
Can I ask you for a favor? Give it a few hours, and then ask me again. ["If you have not remembered that Eto is dead because I think you may have forgotten" he does not say]
By my understanding, in the deeper levels of hell, it becomes more difficult for souls to retain any sort of sentience. This is why it is easiest for spirit callers to call upon recent or exceptionally strong spirits.
That's a fair possibility. I'd think they would tell us if it were the case, since that seems like it would instill plenty of fear, but maybe they think the unknown is more effective.
I'm not certain how much power the demons truly have in these circumstances. They've referenced having to abide by outside forces such as the "police." I doubt very much they care about instilling fear.

Hmmm.]
Well, if you're interested in animal bones, I'm sure I could catch something for you, but--you were speaking to Eto, you said?

I didn't think she was in much of a state to be talking to anyone, but I suppose if anyone could speak with her, it would be you.
[Or maybe Gideon, but. Y'know. She's Gideon.]

What do you mean by that, exactly?

[making an irritated face at him because she can tell he's treating her gingerly.]

Have you forgotten that Four killed Eto a few days ago?

[she seems - not shocked, exactly, just a little startled, thrown off.]
Of course. It slipped my mind, briefly.

It's been happening to a lot of people. I wasn't sure if it was that, or if you'd somehow managed to get in contact with her.
[Which wouldn't be an assumption ordinarily, but. Necromancy + what even is double-death = sure why not consider it a possibility]

[since she is very attuned to people's facial expressions reacting like she's said something crazy.]
I'm no spirit caller. I would love to talk to her, but I cannot.

[Granted, she seems no-nonsense enough that she would do that anyway, but. Y'know.]
I do wonder what happens to the ones who die here, though. The demons were particularly evasive about it when people first asked.

[just throwing that out there.]
