[HEY BUCKO god the way I felt so bad because people were harassing Bucky about gun BUT THEN YOU DID CRIMES ALL ALONG fucking hilarious

Anyway at some point, probably relatively late, Childe will drop by for a visit!! He's got his hands in his pockets, and he looks curiously around the jail as he enters, greeting Bucky with a little wave.]

Got a minute? [This is a pointless question obviously, but he doesn't seem particularly full of rage or disgust or anything.]

The flyers that have been put up all over the damn place. I found another one that actually said only 20 people would get in.

And you believed it? Or did you just think it was worth the chance either way?

It made sense. We all automatically get invited to Satan's house party for a chance to come back to life? This is hell, there was always going to be some kind of catch. The fine print on the flyer made sense.

And like you said...I wasn't about to let even the slightest chance of stacking the odds slip past me.

Personally, I would've assumed it was a trick. I doubt any of us can actually come back to life, if we're even truly dead to begin with. But I can't blame you for being desperate. [And honestly that just says more about Childe than it does about Bucky.] It's too bad you didn't go after me, we could've had a fun fight out of it.

If it was just me, I probably wouldn't have cared enough either. But some people actually do deserve second chances.
