Too eventful. [WEARILY. He would like to stop living in historic times.] The, uh, little kid playing pretend with people puppets is a recent development.
[Hilariously I think I am wrong here and people in Genshin call anybody from other countries "outlanders" but whatever shh it's fine]
...You know, gods and demons and such seem to be a lot more common than I thought they were.
[Like, he never really thought too much about the diversity of beings in his own world but now that he's here he's realizing that demons and such are apparently not that uncommon]
Really? [Hunh. That's a little surprising, really; he knows, logically, that gods don't have the same presence in other worlds as they do in his own, but it's still a little jarring to think about.]
Ahaha, we'd be here all day if I listed them all! But I can tell you that each of Teyvat's seven nations are ruled by Archons--some of the last, most powerful gods around. Thousands of years ago, there were many more, but a great war broke out and most of them died. So, while I wouldn't say just anyone can gain an audience with a god, their presence in our daily lives isn't uncommon.
[Unless you're Childe, who works directly under one god and played sugar daddy to a different one, but he's not going to say that.]
[Oh, this is fascinating. Also jarring and kind of stressful to think about, but fascinating.]
... So you literally walk amongst gods. Your world sounds pretty eventful, too. [Pretty wild.] I guess, technically, the Titan is revered as a god. But the Titan is dead. We live on their bones. Anyone who claims they speak to the Titan is a liar.
[There is, hmmm, some religious trauma here. Something else occurs to him, though.]
Not all gods are Archons--for those that aren't, I can't say for sure, but probably. They can be killed, so I'm sure there are ways to steal or drain their power. [But it's complicated and mostly theorizing on his part, so he won't get too into all of that.] But a god can lose their status as an Archon, yes. Their connection to Celestia is tied to their Gnosis--when they lose that, they are no longer Archons.

Do you know who he is?

An Outlander, huh. Interesting. A friend of mine is something like that, but they're more the heroic type.
[Childe explains video game protagonists]

Huh. I think I can take a guess, but... What makes someone an "Outlander?"

[That is not what the Fatui call them but that's okay]

I thought so... That makes Luz and Camila "outlanders," too, right? The, uh, the two humans. They're not from the demon realm either.

PUSHES
I wasn't sure if gods were actually real until I got here. [Ironically, meeting gods in the afterlife.] What kind of beings live in your world, then?

Can an Archon lose their godhood?
(pensive)

And Celestia is like... a power source for gods or whatever? What's the difference between a regular god and an Archon?
