What I'd really prefer is not having to be a pawn like this. [Itto is also from his canon but honestly he doesn't even feel the need to say that because we all know Itto has zero braincells whatsoever.] For anyone else--combat ability would factor in to an extent, but mental fortitude and willingness take priority.
