I dabble in a few different schools, but I mostly rely on shamanism -- magic that uses the elements of nature and spirits.

It's called a Vision. Back home, they're granted by the gods.

They come from gods? Did you do something to earn their favor?

[Yes, but Childe isn't going to get into that with a stranger, so he goes for the broader definition instead.]

I'm not sure. They're not given personally--they just kind of... appear. [Some people are on the verge of death and others are! not!] It's different for everyone.

Gods work in mysterious ways. [He shrugs.] I assume. Don't have much experience with them, myself.

The ones I've met certainly do.
